We chose each oil or butter because it brings something powerful to our skincare solutions, whether it’s replenishing, renewing, or fighting free radicals. There are no fillers. All are approved for use in the EU (a higher standard than the US) and most have a comedogenic factor of 0.
Blue Moon Balm
Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil: Has gentle anti-inflammatory properties, making it a perfect choice for sensitive or irritated skin. The oil can help soothe and calm skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. It is readily absorbed into the skin leaving a smooth finish, improving the appearance of mature skin, and giving a nourished look to the skin.
Butyrospermun Parkii (Shea) Butter: Renowned for its protecting and emollient properties. It is high in fatty acids, vitamin E and other vitamins and is an excellent moisturizing agent for the skin as it penetrates deeply into the epidermis and leaves a smooth and glowing appearance. Aids in the skins natural collagen production.
Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter: High concentration of antioxidant compounds, including oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid which help to neutralize free radicals in the skin. By reducing the occurrence of oxidative stress, cocoa butter can help reduce the signs of aging, including wrinkles and age marks. Protects and hydrates the skin.
Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Oil: An excellent skin moisturizer, absorbing quickly into the skin. Rich in vitamins A, D, E and Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. Can improve tone, elasticity and regenerate and renew skin cells.
Sclerocarya Birrea (Virgin Marula) Oil: One of the best oils for mature skin. Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids that mimic those that exist naturally in the outer layer of the skin to absorbs easily in the skin. Notably contains the antioxidants vitamin C, vitamin E, and flavonoids. Hydrates, softens and smooths the skin. Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and promotes elasticity by stimulating collagen production.
Aleurites Moluccanus (Kukui Nut) Oil: Kukui nut oil is a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil that deeply hydrates and soothes the skin, making it ideal for dry, sensitive, or irritated skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties also make it beneficial for soothing conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and sunburn.
Tanacetum Annuum (Blue Tansy) Oil: The healing properties of Blue Tansy stem from the azulene pigment which gives it a striking blue color, helping to soothe the skin and fight inflammation, which causes wrinkles, damage to collagen, and loss of firmness.

Argania Spinosa (Argan Oil): Rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamin E. The powerful antioxidants fight the damage caused by free radicals. Argan oil penetrates deeply, restoring the skin’s water lipid layer which restores elasticity, keeps skin soft and minimizing wrinkles.
Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam Seed) Oil: Hydrates, softens, and smooths the skin. It’s rich texture locks in skin’s natural moisture to help prevent dryness and soften the skin. Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids and absorbs easily in to the skin.
Persea Americana (Avocado) Oil: Rich in vitamins A, C and E, powerful antioxidants which make it effective against free radicals which cause premature aging. Avocado oil penetrates deeply to provide nourishment to the skin’s lower layers to replenish and plump the skin. It also contains collagen-boosting plant sterolins. Sterolins have been shown to soften the skin and reduce the appearance of age spots. It is an ideal oil for mature skin which tends to be thinner and have a slower rate of cellular regeneration.
Prunus Spp (Plum Kernel) Oil: A rich oil that does a great job of reversing the effects of environmental damage and stress caused by age. Plum kernel oil returns strength to the epidermal cells, while using its anti-inflammatory properties to reduce the appearance of puffiness or irritation. It can help eliminate the appearance of dark spots, dark circles under the eyes, wrinkles, and dry skin.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil: Studies have documented that jojoba improves the feel of skin, and provides a substantial long-acting, 24-hour skin hydration effect. Contains nutrients like vitamin E and B, as well as minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish and protect skin from environmental stressors. Very gentle. Can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Rosa Rubiginosa (Rosehip Seed) Oil: High in essential fatty acids, Vitamin A and Vitamin E which promote healthy skin, promote collagen and elastin levels and regenerates skin cells. It’s a perfect oil for wrinkles, lines, and age spots.
Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Oil: Powerfully antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and contains a rare form of linolenic fatty acid – conjugated linolenic acid (CLA), also known as Punicic acid. Punic acid has been shown to significantly boost epidermal cellular regeneration, and improve skin tone and elasticity while reducing inflammation. It is one of the absolute best oils for aging skin.
Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil: A natural source of vitamin A, vitamin E, and is reputed to be one of the best source of natural antioxidants due to the high content of vitamin C. Effective in helping to combat wrinkles, dryness and other signs of aged skin.
Borago Officinalis (Borage Seed) Oil: Naturally ant-inflammatory and high in Omega 6, Borage seed oil strengthens and nourishes mature skin while restoring hydration and improving elasticity. It also soothes dry and sensitive skin.
Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil: High in Omega 6 fatty acids. It calms inflamed skin and boosts blood circulation which will give your skin cells what they need for regeneration while giving you a healthy glow.
Calophyllum Inophyllum (Tamanu) Oil: High in antioxidants, has been shown to improve human skin cell (keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts) proliferation, glycosaminoglycan and collagen production, resulting in an improved healing process, regeneration of the dermis and minimization of wrinkles.
